Autumn House has been under the same management since 1989. Over the years it has expanded and now has a frontage of four Victorian Villas which extend back to provide lounges and dining areas, as well as private rooms, whichour residents have freedom to use as they wish.
The home has built up a good reputation on the Island and specialises in caring for people with dementia.
Our home has been developed upon a philosophy of allowing people to interact which each other easily and to enable people to make there way safely around the home with no hazards. We have a lift which ensures there are no steps to negotiate and no stairs can be assessed by our clients. The building is on two levels, the first floor being dedicated to residents personal accomodation which are all en suite.
Years of experience has taught us that people do like to be pampered and we have our own massage room where our clients can relax and enjoy some quality time with our therapist. Massage therapy is a lovely way to calm and soothe people and we see the huge benefits it brings to our clients.
We have a visiting hairdresser and chiropodist who add to keeping everyone comfortable and happy.
Our staff team is lead by Janice Ioannou. Janice has worked at Autumn House for 14 years. She is strongly supported by her deputy Sarah Read. They are committed to providing high levels of care within in a safe and homely environment. The team they lead have all been carefully chosen and have undergone training to enable them to look after our clients specific care needs.
When you visit Autumn House we hope you will be pleased with the atmosphere we have created which encourages our clients to stay active and keep smiling.
We would be pleased to show you around.
